Plan for the whole working day.
Bring your desk and storage dimensions into the layout early. Think about the walk from the house, the background for video calls, daylight on your screen and a reliable data connection.
For regular use through winter, agree the insulation, glazing, heating and ventilation specification together. If clients or colleagues will visit, discuss that use when checking planning requirements.
