Privacy notice

How information is used when you visit this website or contact Ian Garden Rooms.

Who to contact

Ian Garden Rooms is the business you are contacting. For questions about your information, call Ian on 07931 920662.

Your enquiry

If you contact Ian, the details you provide are used to understand your project and respond to you. These may include your name, email address, phone number, postcode and the information you choose to share about your garden.

Responding to a request about a potential project may involve steps taken at your request before entering a contract. Routine correspondence and protecting the website may also be based on legitimate interests. Enquiry details are not collected for advertising mailing lists.

Website services

When the online form is available, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse, a rate-limiting service temporarily counts requests using a hashed network identifier, and Resend delivers the enquiry by email. Where text alerts are switched on, Twilio then sends a short text message to Ian’s mobile, containing your name, phone number, postcode, the kind of room you chose and the start of your message, so that he sees the enquiry sooner. The website does not save enquiries to a separate application database.

Service providers may process technical information needed to provide their services. Hosting providers may keep security and operational logs. Optional Google Analytics is only loaded after you accept analytics. You can change that choice using Cookie settings in the footer.

Keeping information

Information shared in correspondence may remain in the business email account while your enquiry or project is being handled. Contact Ian to discuss access to or deletion of that correspondence. Rate-limit entries in this website expire after 15 minutes; the cookie preference stored on your device expires after six months.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, or object to or restrict its use. Contact Ian first so your request can be addressed. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
